phone consultation

i do an intial phone consultation with all boudoir clients. the purpose of this is for me to:

— get to know one another a bit!
— get a feel for your vision
— what you like and what attracted you to my work
— answer any initial questions or concerns

as your session approaches i like to do a quick check-in the week before to answer any last minute questions and pump you up for the amazing experience ahead of you!

what to wear

there are so many different options for what to wear to your boudoir shoot. typically i recommend bringing 3-4 outfits.

i also have a range of props we can use (leather jacket, rhinestone lingerie, chuNky pearl necklaces, etc.).

some common items are:

— body suits
— lingerie sets
— topless with one of your partners favorite shirts
— boy shorts
— cute pj’s
— complete nude or topless
— veil or something wedding related

pre-session nerves

Feeling super nervous as your boudoir session approaches? Totally normal and to be expected. If you need a drink (or two… or three!) to take the edge off that is completely fine!

HAIR + MAKEUP

professional Hair and makeup makes a HUUUUGE difference. if you choose a package with hair and makeup included, i use two trusted professionals who will work with you to create the exact look you want.

if you choose to do your own makeup just make sure to add a little extra than normal for a pop :)

THE SESSION

location

I do the majority of boudoir shoots at a local studio in denver. once booked i will send you the address. the studio has a light & airy bedroom for photos as well as backdrops to use. i am also available to come to you!

other clients in the past have rented airbnb’s or hotel rooms if there was a particular vibe they had for their photos.

before you arrive

before your boudoir you’ll want to make sure to wear comfy clothes. jeans and yoga pants can leave indents in your skin.

also, please remove any tags from the lingerie you’ll be wearing so they don’t show in the photographs.

if it’s summer, make sure to wear sneakers vs. sandals which can make your feet dirty. Little things but I want your pictures to be perfect!

need a hype squad?

of course i got you on this but if you want to bring your bestie feel free! it can be really fun to have one of your closest friends there cheering you on along the way!

the fun begins!

when you first arrive we can have a drink and chat for a little while seeing what you brought for outfits! if you purchased the “love me” or “obsessed with me” package there will be bubblY, a hair stylist and makeup artist waiting for you!

we can listen to whatever music you like or i have a boudoir hype playlist to get the mood going!

detailed posing support

when we start pictures i’ll walk you through each pose. things like topless, etc. we discuss beforehand so you are never uncomfortable. we’ll do a series of pictures in each outfit and take our time. i keep the vibe super relaxed and laid back.

i promise it’s a ton of fun and we will get you all those epic pictures you were wanting :)

EDITING

WHAt to expect

Dealing with a pre-boudoir session breakout? don’t stress! literally anything can be edited.

i edit all basic blemishes, do slight skin softening and teeth whitening as needed. If there are additional things like scars, beauty marks, etc. that you would prefer to not be in your pictures, please let me know during our initial phone consultation.

philosophy on retouching

one thing i like to mention is that i do not photoshop clients to make them look thinner. during your boudoir session i am extremely conscious of angles that are flattering to your body. you are gorgeous the way you are, trust me :)

PRINTS

prints are the final expression of your boudoir experience in a beautiful, intimate format.

from your online gallery you will be able to make prints directly along with other projects. my most popular which i design for all clients is the fine art linen album.
