Turning Stone Casino Spring Wedding

Gina and John had the most beautiful spring wedding at Turning Stone Casino, with a Catholic Mass in Verona, New York. Gina said their personalities are what makes them work. John makes her more free spirited and go with the flow, she makes him more serious and refined. “He’s outgoing where I am shy. I bring him to events and he leaves with more friends than me… but I keep him grounded.” John loves how Gina always encourages him to follow his dreams.

You can see by their first dance photos they are always laughing together. She knew the moment she looked at John at dinner on their first date he was the one. Then soon after on a bike ride when his chain broke. She said, “He didn’t miss a beat, picking up and running next to me over a mile laughing the whole way.” They love the simple things; grabbing coffee, walking their dog, hiking and cooking. Anything to enjoy each other’s company.

John proposed while they were on a walk with their dog Smokey. He ran off after a deer and John chased him down with one hand in his pocket so Gina knew what was coming next! She of course said yes.

Their wedding aesthetic was inspired by timeless, classic touches and lovely spring hues. They described walking down the aisle and seeing one another for the first time as the best part of the day. “It has been both of our dreams since we were kids.” As well as their first dance. Gina said, “I think we laughed the whole time. We kept saying we’d practice but never did and I’m so glad, because it turned out perfect.”
